My speciality - because they can be a difficult bunch of all ages and not always happy!

At many walkabouts (carnivals etc) I have happily entertained a bunch of kids 15+ year olds. Scary? It works - even with me in my Wizard gown and hat!

For Open Days, Fetes, anywhere where there are children (and sometimes you wished there weren't) - feel confident in booking me. I have my own music and PA and am quite happy with crowds in the hundreds. If you need someone who will just cope and get on with it, organise the area a bit of necessary - that's me.

I've organised big events (up to 10,000) and built up Kids Area at festivals such as the Big Chill (bringing along various acts, puppets, science shows, whatever!), booked bands and the all the extra organisation that goes with it. If you need some help, you need a Wizard!

Apart from virtually all the local playgroups and schools across Herefordshire, Worcestershire and the Forest of Dean here are a few of the firms who have booked me! My day rate is £375 ( up to £450 if you're an awfully long distance away).

Agents

One important point that seems to be missed is - allow me to contact the actual booker, the person in charge of the evening, the event, the trade stand.

I can have far more impact if I can get an understanding of the occasion. I have been at product launches, at open days, at 10th anniversaries and so on. Never have I been given advance copies of the product, any publicity or sales lines. This is such a waste! Each time I have quickly devised a balloon product and/or tag line that the company have been impressed with. I have organised how to pass on sales leads, or company literature.

Event Organizers

I'm intelligent! Use me! Maybe I could act as Announcer, link with another type of entertainment. Perhaps I could walk around for 15 minutes announcing myself - a wandering Wizard will attract attention! Maybe I know how to make my act more effective for my audience (don't stick me on a stage for instance). I can judge Fancy Dress, commentate on the races - whatever you want!

Fetes

Use me - get good value out of me! The biggest tip I can give here is to actually announce me! Give me a place to perform my show, put me on the timings and posters. You pay me good money but so often I'm the best kept secret. I have a good name and a funny logo - use them!

How much do you cost?

I am based in Hereford. My fees start from £145 for a 45 minute show in Hereford, more as I go further afield towards Gloucester, Evesham, Llandod, the Forest, Hay, Ludlow.
A second show is an extra £95.
